I worked on at Aintree Stroke Unit for 2 years after qualifying in 2008 as a staff nurse. I helped care for both acute and rehabilitation patients that had suffered a stroke. During my time on the ward I was health promotion link nurse which I really enjoyed. I left this job in 2010 as new opportunities arose. I became Stroke Research Nurse band 5 in 2010. I was then promoted to band 6 in july 2013. I worked both acute and rehabilitation academic trials. I then worked as a band 6 Gastroenterology and Hepatology Research Nurse from novemeber 2014 to March 2017. I worked on an extensive portfolio that consisted of both commercial and academic trials. I left this post in March 2017 to pursue a different role as Generic Research Nurse Specialist. During my time in this role I have worked on a wide range of specialities and complex studies.
