Adviser
CurrentAs a Fiscal Policy Adviser, I provide accurate, concise and timely advice to the Prime Minister of Australia and prepare high quality briefings to support the Government’s consideration of policy, legislation, budgetary and topical issues. I engage confidently in policy development to enable policy leads across the Department to better understand how the Government’s Fiscal and Economic Strategy influences decision-making. I also foster a positive culture within the organisation through talent acquisition as a panellist responsible for recruiting the Department's graduate cohort.Prior to this, I worked as an Energy Policy Adviser, where I influenced Australia’s clean energy policy agenda by overseeing policy products for the Prime Minister of Australia and the Minister for Climate Change and Energy. I strategised ministerial and industry engagement for the highest profile international forum hosted by Australia in 2022, the Sydney Energy Forum, in partnership with the International Energy Agency. I directed 17 policy analysts that coordinated ministerial representation from 5 countries (USA, Japan, India, Indonesia and Samoa) and secured CEO-level participation from 12 industry and intergovernmental organisations. When I first joined the Department, I was based in the Office for Women where I navigated parliamentary processes to implement the Respect@Work: Sexual Harassment National Inquiry Report’s recommendations, marking a milestone towards preventing sexual violence within Australian workplaces.
