I set up TC- Environmental as a Sustainability Consultancy in September 2019 and continue to operate as a key UKAS Lead and Technical Assessor for environmental schemes in the UK. I am an ISO 17065 and ISO 17024 Lead Assessor as well as a Technical Assessor for the following environmental schemes: Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) Installer and Product, BREEAM, Code for Sustainable Homes, Energy Assessor Scheme and Green Deal Scheme. For the last ten years I have been managing a complex portfolio of clients and can provide strategic advice on issues relating to standards, accreditation and certification for environmental products and schemes.

CWP is a UK based Renewable Energy & Sustainability Consultancy, we are a Yorkshire based company but undertake projects across the UK and further afield.I am the lead UKAS Technical Expert for the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (Installer and Product Standards) and the Code for Sustainable Homes, assessing against EN45011 and ISO17024. CWP provide UKAS with technical experts for the assessment of Certification Bodies under the MCS and CSH. CWP is the UK Delivery Partner for the European FP7 BioMaxxEff Project. The project will be running for 3 years and set to start in March 2011. I manage and deliver sustainable energy projects for a wide ranging client base and also provide technical advice to DC21, which is delivering zero-carbon solutions for distribution centres.I am a UK representative on the European Technology Platform for Renewable Heat and Cooling (Issue Group 2 Residential Heating and Cooling). I'm also a member of the Regional Biomass Forum (Yorkshire), the Yorkshire and Humber Microgeneration Partnership. I joined the Board of Tadea-UK in 2012 and we oversaw the company transitioning to an employee-owned company in August 2013. Tadea (Teeside and Durham Energy Advice) was the EST Advice Centre for the North East, before becoming Tadea-UK, which was a not-for-profit organisation with expertise in energy efficiency, renewable technologies and sustainable transport.

Anorakism is a small independent music label, showcasing innovative artists from a range of musical styles.

I had overall responsibility for the delivery of Microgeneration Yorkshire; the regional support programme for on-site renewables in Yorkshire and Humber. The programme was funded by Yorkshire Forward and part of the Sustainable Futures Company. We had three main activity strands: Market Development, Capacity Building and Project Development.Under the Market Development strand technical support was offered to regional technology manufacturers. We worked closely with the regions installers base, facilitating inclusion in tenders, promoting installation standards and assisting with accreditation under national grant programmes. The strand also worked to identify and undertake trials and studies on identified technical and non-technical barriers to the uptake of on-site renewables. Another key element of this strand was the development of REtool, a unique on-line options appraisal toolkit.Capacity Building: We established the Windy Network, a highly succesful practitioner platform. The network met quarterly to share best practice and trouble shoot project development issues for small to medium wind.We produced the MANY newsletter, which had a wide national readership and also managed the annual Microgeneration Conference and Awards. Represented microgeneration issues on strategic platforms; regional and national. Actively contributed to policy and strategy consultations.Project Development: supported regional installation projects, providing project design, support and management services. We developed design solutions and levered in significant LCBP/Clear Skies and BECGS funding to the region. Established, managed and developed a Solar PV programme for West Yorkshire, the post was funded by Yorkshire Forward and based at Calderdale Council. Worked to established a regional accredited Solar PV installer base. Managed a range of PV installation projects; obtaining funding from national grant programmes, securing planning, managing contractors and publicity. Awarded a UK Eurosolar Award (2004) for Sunrise.Key Installation Projects: Bradford Central Library, Calder High School, Pennine Housing, Waterton Country Park, ATC Hebden Bridge.Training: EcoHomes Assessor Training (2003)

Designed, established and delivered key sustainable development projects in the National Park and across mid-Wales e,g, composting and solar thermal programme.Established and managed Brecon Beacons and Mid Wales Solar Clubs. Founder and director of Cymru Solar (Wales Solar Network). Attended NASEG meetings on behalf of both organisations and delivered presentations at meetings and attended study tour to Austria and Bavaria.Chaired Sustainability Working Group and established an ISO14001 programme for the National Park. Organised and delivered Sustaibable Futures Festival at Hay-on Wye. Successfully obtained funding from local, national and European sources. Developed Supplementary Planning Policy with National Park planners supporting solar thermal installations.Training: DIY solar thermal installation courses (CAT & West Wales Eco Centre); ISO14001 Assessor Training, Community Consultation Methodologies.
