Collaborated with schools and district leadership teams prior to adopting PBIS; confirmed integrity of implementation, obtained financial support, and secured commitments for external coaching capacity and training. Partnered with district leadership teams to provide ongoing technical assistance to district and school PBIS leadership teams; developed a system that provided adequate implementation support to school leaders and school and district formative and fidelity evaluation data.

Coordinated the research operation that directly impacted the data collection and analysis of the SMART Grant and NSF Grant. Collected, reviewed, analyzed, and integrated research associated with improvement of low-performing schools affiliated with the SMART program. Adopted the work of the New Teacher Center in Santa Cruz, CA to develop and deliver interactive research-based professional development for instructional mentors. Fostered new teacher development; employed coaching and consultation dialogue around assessment tools to guide mentoring and encourage new teacher growth.
