I have worked with many clients on compliance and correction issues through Self-Correcting Program (SCP), Voluntary Compliance Program (VCP) and Audit CAP (Closing Agreement Program).As retirement plan administration becomes more electronic, many plan sponsors rely on their service providers for expertise. Although your service provider may be in a paperless environment, this does not alleviate your fiduciary responsibility. I started Retirement Plan Resources to help plan sponsors with the guidance to mitigate risk of fraud or errors to their plan and provide the compliance with the ever-changing ERISA rules.
