*Member of the CACFP management team and participates in the development of CACFP goals and objectives. *Determines internal processes, policies, and procedures by which a team of NutritionConsultants perform compliance reviews of subrecipient organizations that receive USDAfunds to provide nutritious meals to children and adults in care settings.*Defines review processes, policies, and procedures, by continuously researching,interpreting, and evaluating the relevance and importance of USDA Program regulations and existing and emerging USDA policies. *Applies health equity principles to decision making and continuously seeks and acts to improve processes to comply with regulations and deliver excellent customer service.*Executes quality assurance procedures to monitor the work flow of review processes andobserve the application of CACFP policies and procedures in the field.

*Responsible for grant execution activities, creates action plans, and monitors and documents completion of action plan activities. *Monitors expenditures, executes RFA processes for sub-grantee selections, and prepares content for scopes of work, negotiates final scopes of work with contractors, and oversees the performance of contractors. *Completes routine reports for the funders and shares information and data with other state grantees, USDA, and other funders, prepares and/or approves grant-related communications, and presents grant results at state and national meetings and conferences.*Determines the design of nutrition education and promotion interventions, initiatives, or programs to recommend to management for approval and identifies the best source of funding to pursue to support the work. *Determines the level of resources required to achieve the objectives, including number of staff, contractors, funds, and other resources. Identifies the partnering organizations with which to leverage resources to complete the work. *Determines the necessary actions to complete grant deliverables and continuously assesses the progress of the work, proper use of the funds, performance of contractors, and overall alignment with grant requirements and regulations.

*Interpreted federal and state regulations guiding the Child and Adult Care Food Program. *Provided guidance and technical assistance to participating institutions across the state. *Developed resources and conducted training to participating institutions across the state.*Conducted monitoring visits and program audits to participating child and adult care centers to assess program compliance. *Served as the SME and contractor liaison for the compliance review tool and web-based application and reimbursement system.*Approved program applications and trained new and existing sponsors on program requirements.
