I have been contracted to develop the sweater design conceptualization including line art sketches, creative story boards, prototype request forms with detailed spec sheets including CAD knit patterns, and all communication/correspondence with the manufacturers. • Coordinate product development with the design team and President of Merchandising/Marketing.• Develop and submit measurement sheets for tech packs with manufacturers. Communicate proto revisions with each vendor as necessary for subsequent proto requests.• Maintain quality control by conducting measurement review of protos, fit samples, TOP’s and production; communicate corrections/updates on specification forms for all vendors.• Assist with fit sessions and make necessary measurement/fit adjustments to the measurement sheet for each tech pack. • Generate final production graded measurement specification forms for all styles.

• Develop and submit garment Tech Packs for manufacturers. Communicate design revisions with each agent daily via email correspondence.• Track and chart sales samples and production for styles with assigned vendors, and update all reports for weekly departmental meetings.• Create wholesale catalogs using Adobe Illustrator. Generate art/typesetting to prepare the copy for pre-press stage. • Review color lab-dip submits from all vendors to match color standards and create boards with all approved yarn/fabric swatches. Track lab progress by consistently updating data on Excel.

Designer within Merchandising department team for Men’s/Women’s Sweater line for 4 complete annual selling seasons. I managed design implementation of the product cycle including style line sketches, story board presentations, CAD/jacquard development, prototype size and specification requests, BOM information, color standards for lab-dyeing approval for yarns, and maintained communication with factories on a daily basis for labs and all revisions within the prototype and sample knitting process.
