Assisted with the planning of Fast Train North – a high profile one day training event for mediafreelancers, produced in partnership with a wide variety of training providers including ITV, DVTalent and The Indie Training Fund. Assisted with the planning and delivery of The One Show Roadshow - a one day public event culminating in a live broadcast of the BBC One programme. This included researching and developing content ideas, developing partnerships, liaising with the programme team, and recruiting and co-ordinating volunteers from across the BBC and externally.

Assisted with the planning and delivery of the BBC Science Zone at Cheltenham Science Festival - a high profile four day event in the science calendar. This included live shows and panel discussions around BBC Programmes including Bang Goes The Theory, Stargazing, Planet Dinosaur and Incredible Edibles aimed at school age children and adults. My role included sourcing props, liaising with talent, coordinating event assistants and assisting with the production of the stage shows.

Assisted with the planning and delivery of Bang Goes the Theory LIVE roadshow - a series of events across the country including a live science stage show and interactive tent. My role included overseeing ticketing process, marketing the events, developing content ideas with partner organisations and providing back-stage support at the live shows.

I have volunteered at the last five Manchester International Festivals as a volunteer team leader. This role involves working with Volunteer Coordinators to recruit, train and manage festival volunteers who work across ten venues over the 18-day festival.Working closely with Volunteer Coordination team to plan the delivery of the volunteer programnme and managed a team of volunteers at a variety of venues and high profile arts events including The Masque of Anarchy, Goldfrapp concerts.

I coordinated the 'In Conversation With' (ICW) live online broadcasts, including researching into guests for the programme and sponsorship opportunities, marketing, script-writing and technical support.

I co-founded and co-ordinated this volunteer led organisation to provide an outlet for female filmmakers and artists to show their work. I coordinated and promoted regular Girls on Film events. I developed and maintained the Girls on Film website and social networking pages.

As Communications Officer my role focussed on editing CIDS’ creative industries journal: Creative Times. I also worked on the development and marketing of www.creativetimes.co.uk. On a daily basis, I produced content for and managed user-generated content for both the Creative Times website and print publication. Additionally, I compiled CIDS’ monthly e-newsletter.
