Norwich MedEd was founded by Tanya Ta and a group of junior doctors and medical students who are very passionate about medical education, peer-to-peer teaching and learning. MedEd encourages medical students to teach and share knowledge throughout medical school.We aim to provide completely free weekend events and courses for year 1. year 2, year 3 and year 4 students. We endeavour to make the events accessible to all medical students interested. We aim to create more informal teaching opportunities for medical students and junior doctors via an online application form and a transparent selection process.

I have been appointed Honorary Tutor at the Norwich Medical School, University of East Anglia.This appointment is in recognition of my links and contributions to the Norwich MedicalSchool.My roles include Academic Foundation Doctor, PBL tutor, Anatomy Demonstrator and Researcher in the UEA Rhinology and ENT Research Group.My research interests are ENT, medical education, leadership and innovation.

Anatomy teaching fellow involved with delivery of anatomy seminars to the undergraduate students on the MB BS programme at Norwich Medical School. This involved guiding and assisting the students with dissection and discussing the application of the anatomy functionally and clinically in small groups.

The School Convenor has many roles:- Gather feedback from students across the school (both Undergraduates and Postgraduates) and feed these into School Boards and Committees.- Act as Student Co-chair on the Student Staff Liaison Committee (SSLC) in their Schoolwill also be a member of the Education Committee in the Students' Union and will attend Union Council representing your views.
