I process all purchase and sales invoices, ensuring timely payments are made and reconciling the 4 different multi currency bank accounts, chasing customers for payments where required, calculating intercompany recharges and processing multiple employee credit card statements. As the sole member of the finance team in the UK, I have written Finance Operations documentation to ensure that all accounting is dual purpose for UK GAAP and to German accounting standards. The parent company is based in Germany and as such dual currency intercompany invoices are the norm. By single-handedly bringing the accounting function in-house, the company has made significant savings in accounting and administration costs whilst the business has grown in the same period.

This required me to effectively communicate business requirements to the development team, supporting the business in their testing and quality assurance testing. After the system went into production, I was further responsible for supporting the product and liaising with the necessary business contacts in London and New Jersey to successful resolution. I was also responsible for the overall stability of the Production, UAT and QA environments- and communicating the required information to the users.In addition to this, I was also a key member of support to the General Equity Traders within their use of Imagine at Deutsche, including a successful upgrade to version 5. Within the team, I set up internal rules for the ownership of problems, to successful resolution.
