Through her role as founder and CEO of Circulanation and the Remote Opshop Project, she leverages her expertise to create responsive, place-based, and practical learning opportunities that empower individuals to actively participate in the economy while maximising social impact.With extensive experience developing sustainable, ethical, and culturally focused Indigenous enterprises, Tanya has spearheaded numerous projects in remote and regional Australia. Her skill set encompasses enterprise development, strategic planning, entrepreneurial capacity building, marketing and communications, and community engagement.Tanya's background in Entrepreneurial Education is underscored by her success in designing and implementing impactful learning experiences that enhance the entrepreneurial capabilities of individuals and communities to drive social change. She has designed and delivered university-accredited entrepreneurship programs and received training from KaosPilot, a pioneering business and design school renowned for its comprehensive education in leadership and entrepreneurship. In addition to her leadership roles at Circulanation and the Remote Opshop Project, Tanya volunteers as CEO for the Urapunga Aboriginal Corporation. Furthermore, she provides consultation services to the Northern Territory Government and the Department of Chief Minister and Cabinet, actively contributing to community development and empowerment initiatives.Tanya's dedication and contributions have not gone unnoticed. Tanya is the National Winner of the 2024 AgriFutures Rural Women's Award in recognition of her leadership and contribution to rural and remote Australia.
