My primary research interests focus on entrepreneurial ecosystems. I am particularly interested in understanding the micro-level coordination mechanisms that can strengthen the fundamental premise of interdependence of the entrepreneurial ecosystem concept. I also study entrepreneurship and innovation policies from the theoretical lens of entrepreneurial ecosystems with the goal of providing evidence-based policy recommendations that can improve the design, implementation, and evaluation of public policies.

− In collaboration with the core research team, develop the structure, objectives, and policies of the research project, evaluating research activities, and recommending improvements where appropriate − Oversee and manage the project deadlines and competing interests requiring long-term planning and strategies. − Refine project timelines, monitor and control of project deadlines and outcomes, and closeout of the project − Provide advice and mentorship to small business owners and entrepreneurs in Alberta (research intervention)− Develop and coordinate a variety of analytical processes, using complex software and techniques− Coordinate research project and associated staff across all phases of research − Support analysis and reporting, in the development of documents and proposals for presentation and publication
