At iHealthScreen Inc, I specialized in advanced 𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 and 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 focusing on retinal pathology analysis. My key responsibilities included:• Tackling complex challenges in the detection and segmentation of critical retinal fundus features such as the 𝗢𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰, 𝗩𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗹𝘀, and 𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀 from OCT images.• Developing robust machine learning systems aimed at 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 and 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 in retinal fundus images, specifically targeting diseases like 𝗔𝗴𝗲-𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗗𝗲𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (AMD) and 𝗗𝗶𝗮𝗯𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗥𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗼𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗵𝘆 (DR).• Designed and implemented 𝗥𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗶𝘀, a semi-automated desktop application using C++, OpenCV, and Qt5 framework, enabling segmentation of retinal vessels and analysis of AMD progression stages.• Conducting comprehensive data preprocessing, 𝗳𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, and 𝗮𝗹𝗴𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗺 𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 to achieve high accuracy in retinal layer detection and pathology diagnosis.• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to validate machine learning models and integrate diagnostic tools into clinical workflows, significantly enhancing diagnostic efficiency.My experience at iHealthScreen has honed my skills in software development, machine learning, and collaborative problem-solving within a healthcare context.
