• At iHealthScreen Inc, I specialized in advanced 𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 and 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 focusing on retinal pathology analysis. My key responsibilities included:
• Tackling complex challenges in the detection and segmentation of critical retinal fundus features such as the 𝗢𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰, 𝗩𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗹𝘀, and 𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀 from OCT images.
• Developing robust machine learning systems aimed at 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 and 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 in retinal fundus images, specifically targeting diseases like 𝗔𝗴𝗲-𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗗𝗲𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (AMD) and 𝗗𝗶𝗮𝗯𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗰.
• Designed and implemented 𝗥𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗶𝘀, a semi-automated desktop application using C++, OpenCV, and Qt5 framework, enabling segmentation of retinal vessels and analysis of AMD progression stages.
• Conducting comprehensive data preprocessing, 𝗳𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, and 𝗮𝗹𝗴𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗺 𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 to achieve high accuracy in retinal layer detection and pathology diagnosis.
