Bill retired from his Senior Managing Director role at CBIZ Tampa Bay on April 30, 2023.Prior to his retirement as Senior Managing Director/Shareholder of CBIZ MHM LLC (CBIZ) and Mayer Hoffman McCann P.C. (MHM) he had overall responsibility for the Tampa Bay practice and provided leadership and expertise across many of the firm’s practice areas. He also directed strategic planning for the local business unit of CBIZ and MHM and represented the firm throughout the Tampa Bay community.Prior to his retirement Bill had more than forty years of public accounting experience and previously served as a Tax Partner with KPMG. He had extensive experience working with various types of tax compliance and consulting issues. He worked closely with various types of business entities and had also assisted business owners with related tax matters. He has been extensively involved with business acquisitions, state and local tax minimization engagements, and representation before the Internal Revenue Service and the Florida Department of Revenue. He has also provided expert witness testimony for litigation support engagements.Bill has had relevant industry experience with manufacturing, distribution, retailing, automotive, construction entities, professional service firms, health care and non-profit entities.Specialties: Business and individual tax planning and compliance, strategic planning, non-proft entities
