I am a Microbiology major attending classes at UMass, Amherst, aspiring to be a dentist. Being a Microbiology major, I have developed many laboratory skills, such as using bright field microscopes, pipettes, and spectrophotometers. This past summer I worked as a sales associate and cashier at Bed Bath and Beyond in Enfield, Connecticut. In these positions, I processed returns and accommodated for customer complains. I also spent time shadowing a dentist, where I learned how to properly consult patients and how a dentist office works.
