I currently work as a sales assistant providing customers with their optimal outcome and a smooth experience in store from start to point of sale. I have a well rounded knowledge of the products sold and am able to provide each customer with their perfect fit! I represent the values of the company and have begun learning people management and providing training and assisting my co-workers in up-skilling during their time with the company. I have also gained a wealth of experience in other areas such as online orders, administration, packing orders in store and assisting with online tablet sales to contribute to the stores KPI's. I have thrived in this fast paced environment and have consistently been the top sales assistant on the customer review surveys conducted in store.

My time as Disney cast member mainly focussed on maximising sales via quality guest service, clear communication and promoting product additions and packages. Outside of sales and ensuring optimal customer experiences, my role also allowed me to gain experience in areas such as: leading interactive in-store events, participating in seasonal promotional events, visual merchandising, stock replenishment and all administrative duties involved in sales transactions. I also stepped into a managerial role where required, gaining experience in complaint resolution, refunds and exchanges, and delegating tasks to other members of the team and managing the outcomes of those tasks to ensure customer satisfaction. I strove to convert browsers to buyers, demonstrate the iconic disney image and the values of the company all whilst ensuring every customer experienced a piece of Disney magic upon entering the store.

My work as a Cash Office Assistant focussed on the inflow of cash into the business. I was given this opportunity upon turning the legal age of 18 as I was viewed as the best candidate for the role due to my previous history of providing top quality customer service and my pre-existing skill at managing lighter administrative duties. I developed my administrative skills through tasks such as: preparing and inserting cash floats into the tills, handling the days takings through counting and reconciling as well as other light administrative duties. I enjoyed the level of responsibility entrusted to me with this role and the display of trust from the perspective of the company in my ability to ensure continuity of cash flow throughout the store tills.

My experience as a part of the customer service desk team presented a potential for growth within my role, as I gained experience in conflict resolution, managing customer expectation, ensuring all customers had attention to detail applied to their complaint and providing refunds or exchanges where required. I also had other duties that fell under this role including: recording of lost property, assisting any lost children, in store announcements, returning stock items/recovery and ensuring above all that the store always looked prepared and a professional atmosphere was upheld. I was able to help customers as well as providing assistance to team members and working collaboratively to ensure the customer left feeling we had achieved the optimal outcome.
