Direct and managed all aspects of managed care contracting activities nationwide for TeamHealth's Anesthesia Division

Responible for all hospital, physician, and ancillary managed care contracting efforts with all commercial insurance plans and managed governmental programs in VA, NC, SC, GA, and FL.

Responsible for all commercial and managed governmental insurance contracting on behalf of 7 general acute care hospitals representing over 1100 beds, 11 ancillary providers including (rehab, skilled nursing, imaging, surgical, would care, home health and behavioral health centers) in North and South Carolina and Arkansas, located in both rural and urban markets.Previously responsible for contracting on behalf of over 150 physicians in North and South CarolinaResponsible for recommending and implementing strategies for the enhancement of a revenue contract portfolio valued at over $760MResponsible for financial modeling and financial analyses of all contractual agreements.Responsible for all budgeting and strategic planning of all contractual agreements.Responsible for implementing other strategies to enhance net revenue via charge master changes, case management work plans, registration/authorization work flows.Responsible for building strategic relationships between hospitals, their physician partners, and local employers.Responsible for managing expected vs. actual net revenue through contract implementation, payment variance identification, performance improvement, report generation, and collection activitiesResponsible for interacting and maintaining strong long-term professional relationships with the local hospital CEOs and CFOs and Divisional and Corporate Leadership.Responsible for overseeing all facility based credentialing with payors.

Responsible for all contracting of hospitals and ancillary facilities for the Charlotte area and contiguous counties for Commercial and Medicaid HMO products.Responsible for the initial and all subsequent contract language template filings with the NC Department of Insurance.

Responsible for all intra state and contiguous state hospital contracting for the State's self administered health plan.
