Performing both Senior Business Analyst and Product Owner roles, following Agile methodologies, I am responsible for new feature development. This includes gathering, analysing, documenting and communicating requirements for multiple software projects working with internal and external stakeholders. I work closely with our customers ensuring that the business need is clear before moving into software development. Translating requirements into prioritised Product Backlog items. Performing both Business Analyst and Product Owner roles, following Agile methodologies, I was responsible for two product modules. I managed product backlogs by creating and maintaining User Stories with Acceptance Criteria. I prioritised the product backlog to best achieve the goals and mission of the product. I worked with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to create clearly defined requirements through rigorous investigation and analysis in order to define and clearly document business and user requirements to identify logical solutions. I facilitated workshops to review, analyse and challenge requirements and managed the release of new product features, working closely with the development teams to ensure timely release to high levels of quality. Contributed to the production of product specifications and product literature.

As a Development Consultant at Rolls-Royce I was responsible for the effective programme management of a Global Graduate Development Programme. This included the day to day management of circa 109 trainees, enabling a global support network for them, providing effective mentoring, coaching and education. Whilst identifying appropriate development solutions; including the sourcing of roles, posts and attachments for the trainees. The role also required the engagement of programme stakeholders globally, managing annual pay reviews, dealing with disciplinary and implementing a cost effective training schedule. I was also required to co-ordinate activities with HR which impacted graduate development processes, global business need for resource, function trainee demand signals and budgeting practices. Achievements • Working within a team to win ‘Team of the Year’ 2014 in partnership with Rolls-Royce Plc. • Ensuring that the development of trainees was integrated within the wider Rolls-Royce architecture for developing future talent, by supporting and monitoring the transition of trainees from Development Programmes into first positions and the Rolls-Royce High Potential Pool. • Managing Leadership and Development Programmes with trainees, taking individual, professional bodies and business requirements into account.

As Graduate Programme Manager I worked within a team to deliver a structured schedule of NHS knowledge, SQL analysis, consultancy skills and specific data migration training to each intake of new employees. I oversaw the co-ordination of training to ensure that business objectives were being met. This required continual development and enhancements to lesson material to ensure it met the needs of the ever changing NHS business environment. I was responsible for the smooth running of in-house training and the marketing of training to external clients, as well as the day to day Line Management of trainees in the Academy. Also acting as a qualified workplace coach, supporting and mentoring trainees to encourage them to realise their full potential. Achievements • Winner of ‘Business Skills and Staff Development’ award at the Derbyshire Business Awards 2009 and Regional Awards in the ‘Small Employer’ category at the National Training Awards 2009. • Contributed towards the development of the Avoca Higher Diploma in Health Informatics (which is accredited to the Framework for Higher Education Qualifications (FHEQ) with the University of Wolverhampton). • Qualified workplace coach, supporting and mentoring trainees to encourage them to realise their full potential.

As a Data Analyst my areas of specialism included SQL Coding, reporting and Business Intelligence; the migration of legacy data to new systems in line with data standards and file definitions; and complex data analysis. I gained an excellent understanding and knowledge of data management, migration processes and approaches. I was involved in numerous Patient Administration Systems (PAS) migrations as part of a Government Project. The work required close attention to detail and was mostly conducted within a Microsoft SQL Server environment. As part of this role I had to provide accurate, timely and relevant data analysis and identify validation issues within the source data, whilst continually ensuring that the integrity of the data was kept, enforcing quality and data standards.Other responsibilities included writing product and process documentation, SQL programming and database administration, consultancy services and customer service, project planning and marketing.Achievements• Graduated from the Avoca Health Informatics Academy (this is a regional and local award winning training• scheme).• Proficient in the collection, validation, collation, maintenance, analysis and presentation of data.• Excellent report writing and analytical skills, with a superb attention to detail.

This was a graduate trainee position, working my way through the Avoca Health Informatics Academy (this is a regional and local award winning training scheme).Training modules included: NHS Knowledge, Informatics Skills, SQL Programming and Database Administration, Project Management and Consultancy Skills and Healthcare Data Migration Process.The training scheme developed my expertise and understanding of the healthcare sector and health informatics whilst working on live projects.
