My sales and marketing experience has given me insight into how people make decisions, and what motivates them. It is not only about knowing the product, but the reason for the desire of change. I started as a leasing professional in my late 20's and fell in love with the industry working for Greystar Real Estate Partners at the Manor at Castle Hills. I believed in the golden rule and in giving my best every day to my clients and my community. I would work late into the night writing renewal contracts and before docu-sign or E-sign existed, and would hand deliver every contract. Out of a 40% or under resident retention average in the city, my property had a 65% retention ratio. I then started hosting fun social events to help continue building on the relationships we had and obtaining new referrals. As a result, the property achieved 100% occupancy and held very close for several years when the owners decided to finally sell. I then went to my next community, the 1st owner managed property for my company, Avana at the RIM. This property went from 88% to 100% occupancy as well. Shortly after, I was awarded leasing professional of the year for the City of San Antonio for record sales then, leasing professional for the Central South region for Greystar Real Estate Partners. My life had forever changed after this, as I was recruited on to take the role of the marketing and events manager of one of the largest and most exciting real estate projects to grace our City, the beautiful Eilan! I quickly educated myself on ILS marketing, grew our network, and started to think outside of the box. I created news worthy marketing, social and charity events and was able to have our community aired on "Real Estate Radio", YouTube, News 4 WOAI, Kens 5, and we were the 1st and only multi family to air on "Luxury Living San Antonio". I stayed on board the Eilan through 4 management companies and despite having the highest prices in the city and 539 units, maintained occupancy in the high 90's for over 8 years once leased up. After over 8 years at the Eilan, I was ready for more career growth. I joined the David Weekley team and was able to take my sales and marketing skills to the next level. In addition, I gained knowledge of the new home construction process, mortgage loans and financing, and negation skills. I sold a home my very 1st week and it felt awesome! The common denominator is that sales and marketing are all about understanding people and building relationships. I have loved every part of this journey.
