I'm a 28 year old graduate from University of Ulster with a second class lower hons in BSc (hons) Marine Science with DPP in 2018, then graduated from Queens University Belfast, in MSc Animal Behaviour and Welfare, in 2021. In my own time I completed a level 3 CPD Award in Animal Psychology in 2020. I am a enthusiastic , reliable, hard working and highly driven individual. Possessing excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as being flexible and adapting quickly within the working environment. I'm an outgoing, friendly personality who enjoys the challenge of working under pressure either independently or within a team. During university I was fortunate to gain work placement, as a field research assistant at CRIOBE research facility, monitoring the behavioural traits of the Amphiprion percula (Clownfish) for a 7 month duration. I also acted as a reseach assistant for 3 months in Ostional Costa Rica, researching Lepidochelys olivacea (Olive Ridley sea Turtles) with a Phd Candidate from Texas A&M University.On my days off I enjoy hiking up the Mourne mountains, travelling, horse riding, scuba diving, reading up on animal anatomy, behaviour and other medical conditions within animals/habitat conservation, through these interest it's provided me with the opportunity to volunteer alongside Hawk Walk Northern Ireland, which is providing me with new skills towards working with birds of prey, in respect to their behaviour, health concerns, home maintenance, handling and various other falconry techniques.
