This research is funded by the Irish Research Council Postgraduate Fund and the Alice Lister Award for Childhood Disadvantage in Ireland with The Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth.Using a participatory research framework and methods inspired by Irish and international socially-engaged artists, this research asks: what story needs to be told about getting an education in Ireland whilst in residential care and who needs to be made to listen? Who better to answer these questions then young people themselves, who function as experts of institutions of care and education. In working with young people as co-researchers and expert collaborators, this research hopes to develop an understanding of this unique life-experience that creates a meaningful experience for young people while having implications on practice and policy in the Irish landscape.

- Facilitating NPower Canada's Professional Development workshops to classrooms of 60+ participants including resume development, workplace communication and interview preparation- Providing group and individual career coaching to participants with a strong emphasis on personal accountability, professional development and technical skills- Assisting in crisis management for historically under-served youth in British Columbia while maintaining participation and success in NPower technical training and employment programs

- Collaborated in cross-functional team to execute special education and behaviour intervention practices for students in crisis- Compiled data to create behaviour intervention plans in collaboration with SLPs, OTs, psychologists and social wokrers- Provide SEL and mental health wellness workshops to classrooms across the English Montreal Schoolboard

- Instructor and treatment facilitator in locked-unit for teenage boys and girls within child protective services- Created foundation for first on-site COVID unit for locked-unit residential facility, tasked with updated protocols for group home in accordance with public health guidelines- On-site facilitator for transition-to-adulthood housing and employment program for teenage and young women aging out of care

- Rolled out wellness programs to be incorporated into Core Curriculum for medical residents- Created initial Continuing Medical Education course including funding, program preparation, platform and market research and virtual facilitation- Supported medical residents in their academic and wellness concerns throughout five year resident program

- Facilitated accommodations for students with disabilities at McGill University including in-class accommodation, exam accommodation and universal design teaching- Troubleshooting accommodation needs for student with disabilities while in hands-on learning environment- Championed universal-design based education within McGill faculties- Collaborated in paraprofessional team to administer thousands of individual accommodations throughout each semester

- Assisting students in crisis access emergency accommodations and programs - Led 500+ invigilators and examiners in universal-design accommodated exams- Facilitated disability justice and disability awareness training for contract employees

- Using atlas.ti 7, coding interview transcripts from User Study of faculty about their use of library online catalogue programs- Exporting coded interviews to answer questions about co-occurrence of certain demographic factors versus user task observations- Work modelling the data, sequential modelling, consolidating sequence models to understand breakdowns in user experience and building affinity diagrams from initial models- Conducted training for original interviewers for how to use atlas.ti 7
