I am an experienced Chartered Clinical Psychologist with 32 years experience in the NHS who is now moving into private practice. I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). As well as providing therapy for clients I have also supervised a number of qualified Clinical Psychologists and offered training and supervision to other staff within the NHS, including nurses and social workers who are wishing to develop their therapy skills.I have many years of experience in providing therapy for clients with mild, moderate and severe difficulties. I am now focussing on working with clients with work related stress; anxiety; depression; trauma; relationship difficulties bereavement & loss and adjustment to difficult life circumstances.I mainly work within Cognitive Behaviour Therapy; Mindfulness Based approaches & EMDR.The approach chosen depends on the needs of the client and the evidence about what therapies are most effective for a particular issue. I am able to see clients in person or remotely.
