I am a passionate visual and studio arts educator seeking a position at a teaching studio or elementary and/or middle school where I can encourage and inspire students to discover and develop their artistic and creative abilities. I have the experience and a strong desire to incorporate a multidimensional, interdisciplinary, and multicultural curriculum that links the arts to history, language, culture, and society. Described as dynamic, creative, and innovative, I bring excellent public relations skills, communication skills, and interpersonal skills to my work with students and my interactions with coworkers and families. Students learn how to work together, how to problem solve unique solutions, how to take risks, and how to listen and share their thoughts and ideas effectively. The arts increase student engagement in school, and allow students who struggle in other areas a place where their voice matters.
