After graduating from Red River College Polytechnic with a certificate in Applied Accounting in April 2023, I started my career as a Junior Associate in Cloud Accounting Services at BDO Canada. In this fast-paced environment, I experienced what it is like to complete full-cycle accounting for up to 10 different clients. I enjoyed the process of learning all the steps to complete the period end for each client, as well as identifying discrepancies and finding the cause of them. The satisfaction of reconciling all accounts at the end of the period or fixing a problem on my own, brought me so much joy and passion for my work. Who says accounting can’t be fun?During my time here, I was able to learn and grow from where I started almost a year ago, and now it is time for me to seek new opportunities as an Accounting Clerk.On top of the skills I learned and honed at BDO, I also possess over 10 years’ experience in various customer service roles as both a Cashier and Customer Service Supervisor. Through this experience, I developed a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service and building lasting relationships through personalized and compassionate support. Creating positive experiences for my customers is something I strive to go over and above to achieve, and I take immense pride in conducting myself in a friendly and professional manner. By acting in this way, I can achieve my goal of making at least one person’s day better and make myself proud in the work that I do.
