I look forward to making our department one of the most productive and creative newspaper/multimedia outlets in the (as Dr. Doofenshmirtz would say) tri-state area! When I revealed my self motivation and aggressive decisiveness 20 some odd years ago, I was put on an overnight shift where I worked completely alone through the night. I then reported work load status to management. Followed through with staff before leaving the office, always completing tasks on time, as I am very good at time management. Advanced to a position in Marketing, where I managed the advertising/promotion art supervising alone. I learned much about press set-up both newsprint and commercial printing. Working on many projects including POP setups, brochures, folders, magnets, pens, t-shirts, bags, etc, etc., with a variety of associates. Currently, taking freelance jobs when available and learning every possible procedure in my department to share with any willing associate. Responsible for timely completion of commercial jobs, daily, weekly publications, documentation, job allocation, progress reporting, and other administrative duties. Show less

Learned a lot about people and their different personalities. Learned the importance of being prepared and constantly moving by having a fully stocked station at all times and patience to understand that it's more important to make sure your job is complete and done well than to know what time you might get to go home for the night to do your homework. The bar was NOT an option. ;-) Nor really, a desire.
