Director of the annual SpeakUp5k in September at Byrd Park in Richmond, VA and the National SpeakUp5k Day, a virtual run for people all over the world. Participants join us for a fun-filled event and to SpeakUp against teen mental health.

-Planned and executed the Richmond One Walk. The Richmond One Walk raised over $1 million dollars for type 1 diabetes research between 2016-2019. -Provided superior customer service and stewarding to sponsors, walk team captains, and all walk participants.-Worked closely with family and corporate team captains to ensure they met their fundraising goals.-Managed volunteers for the One Walk and Gala, approximately 100 volunteers.-Helped the Outreach Coordinator with the on-boarding of new walk teams. I attended outreach events to recruit new family walk teams and to build relationships with current walk participants.-Assisted the lead volunteer in Charlottesville, VA and helped her steward walk teams for the 2018, 2019, and 2020 Charlottesville Community One Walk.-Assisted lead walk volunteer in Fredericksburg to plan the Fredericksburg One Walk in 2016 and 2017, raising over $90,000 for type 1 diabetes research.-Assisted the Charlottesville Community One Walk lead and their committee launch the Charlotesville One Walk in 2018. The Charlottesville walk was founded in 2018 and by 2019 had raised over $100,000 for T1D research.-Updated chapter social media including Facebook and Instagram. I wrote the chapter's monthly newsletter that was delivered to over 14,000 constituents.

Taught high intensity circuit training classes to groups of two up to eight women. My number one priority was to provide proper form and technique to clients to ensure they were safely meeting their fitness goals. I help personal training sessions providing one on one instruction. Performed regular duties to maintain upkeep of the facility.

Provided administrative assistant to the Managing Director at Boxwood Partners, LLC. Edited and updated social media accounts including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, and Google + for several online companies. Arranged travel plans including booking flights, rental cars, and hotel accommodations. I answered the phone and directed calls to appropriate associate as well as welcomed guests into the office.

I provided guests will friendly customer service and educated them on our product. I developed relationships with guests and informed them of community events surrounding fitness and wellness.

I managed the 2013 Walk to Cure Diabetes in Richmond, VA. My responsibilities included securing sponsors for the Walk. I stewarded all walk teams and assisted them with raising money for their walk teams. I worked with the City of Richmond to complete all required contracts in order to host the walk in the city. I raised awareness of type 1 diabetes through all JDRF special events, outreach events, and networking events.

At my time with the Richmond Flying Squirrels I sold over 5000 group tickets to groups of 20 or more. I was in charge of the Squirrel Tail Kids Club which included registering members, giving out their membership cards, sending a monthly newsletter, and planning and executing special events exclusively for Kids Club members. I was responsible for all birthday party sales, coordinated set up and logistics of each party, and implemented the parties. I attended appearances throughout the community to promote the Flying Squirrels, group opportunities, birthday party packages, and more. I trained the group sales interns. I was also in charge of registration and set up of the Flying Squirrels baseball camp that was held two times during the summer for 125 children between the ages of 4 and 14.
