As a Lead Business Advisor for Life Operations Support, Tara worked with business partners throughout the enterprise to gather requirements and implement small modifications. She was responsible for understanding the modification request, updating appropriate procedures and letters, and ensuring communication is delivered in a timely manner to affected areas. She was also responsible for life systems access. Tara worked with Life business partners and information security to ensure employees throughout Life had the access they need to perform their job duties.

As a Manager for Life Specialized Member Services, Tara was responsible for developing, collaborating, and supporting her team of Member Service Representatives in providing exceptional member experiences, building relationships, and facilitating the financial security of USAA members.

Tara started in Life Specialized Services as a Member Service Representative where she assisted members with changes to their Life and Annuity products. Shortly after joining the team she moved to a Sales and Service Advisor role where she facilitated the financial security of members by understanding their needs and offering appropriate solutions. In 2008, Tara was promoted to a Senior where she coached representatives to assist with meeting their goals and the USAA Mission. She also served as a Subject Matter Expert in projects, defect meetings and procedures changes and resolved complex issues.
