During my time there I developed, from scratch, mailing list databases for different customer categories and then executed print mailings tailored to each. I worked with the business owners to develop a marketing plan, determing the most effective timing and method of advertising for each division. This included building up the company's social media presence, gaining followers, and creating and maintaining content. When the company's website was completely overhauled, I was an integral part of that team, guiding the web developers, creating new inventory records for the site, and adjusting content and pricing. I created and evolved an a database to categorize and track a certain sub-set of inventory, keeping track of truckloads made up of 50 to 100 individual pieces of merchandise as they arrived, were inspected, and were sold. Seeing the inefficiencies of the billing system in use, I researched and implemented a new system that was better able to meet the company's needs, and trained other employees in its use. I was also placed in charge of commercial accounts and acted as the liason for those customers, determining what would best meet each customer's needs, giving sales presentations, coordinating sales, delivery, and financing, and follow-up after the sale to ensure a continued positive relationship.
