About Tara Lyons

Tara is a crime/psychological suspense author from London, UK. Turning 30 in 2015 propelled her to fulfil her lifelong dream of becoming a writer. In The Shadows is Tara's debut novel published in March 2016. In August 2016 Tara signed a book contract with Bloodhound Books, who have now published all four books in the DI Hamilton series. She then crossed over from series to standalone and wrote a psychological suspense, The Paramedic's Daughter. In addition to this, she has written a festive short story (A Christmas Crime) and contributed to a charity anthology (Dark Minds). Tara completed three online training courses - proofreading and grammar - with The Society for Editors and Proofreaders in August/September 2017, and was accredited a pass for each course.When she's not writing, or working in her role as Editorial & Production Manager, Tara's focus and time is given to her family.
