In this executive role, I apply my educational, technical, management, administrative and leadership expertise to strategically implement and manage the Talent Development Secondary program in numerous cities, including Albuquerque, Tulsa, New Orleans, Guam, Austin, and San Antonio. I serve on the leadership team of the GRAD Partnership for Student Success. I oversee a staff of up to eight who support the design and continuous improvement of Student Success Systems (formerly EWS) in schools and districts nationwide with customized support. Additionally, I coordinate the technical assistance for schools, annual conferences, materials ordering and delivery. Next, I collaborate with Johns Hopkins and school based staff to collect, organize and analyze student level data to allow for data driven action plans and assist the faculty and administrators in restructuring schools nationwide through technical assistance and professional development. Moreover, I cultivate and maintain effective partnerships nationwide with schools, districts, private and public funding organizations, and teachers’ union. Finally, I negotiate, customize, and support execution of contractual agreements between School Districts, Funding Organizations and the university. My Key Accomplishments include:• Successfully improving learning outcomes at schools in the San Antonio school district, significantly improving Algebra and English scores from prior to program participation.• Serving as a school transformation facilitator at Walter L. Cohen High School, resulting in a doubling of the promotion rate from ninth to tenth grade in one year.• Co-authoring grants, Requests for Proposals, technical assistance materials, funding reports, guides and texts.• Being quoted as a subject matter expert in an article appearing in the US News & World Report on student success(http://www.usnews.com/news/articles/2015/09/15/in-school-academies-boosting-student-success).

In this role, I recruited, trained, supported, and directed school-based teams to analyze data and develop, monitor, and execute school transformation plans, resulting in sustained growth in student outcomes. In addition, I developed, nurtured, and leveraged relationships with individuals in varied roles, including districts, school, boards of education, community, and funding organizations. I also managed multiple projects simultaneous across districts and states. Devised and executed local projects and budgets. Last, I mentored, coached, and led a diverse team of up to 10 staff.My Key Accomplishments included:• Successfully cultivating and establishing relationships with more than 20 district leaders, principals, and funders across multiple cities and districts.• Increasing the number of schools and districts partners in each city and state• Achieving annual year progress at three schools across two states that failed to do so in more than 10 years.

As facilitator, I provided technical assistance on site in 5 to 10 schools in 3 to 5 cities which resulted in an average 10% gain in student promotion and graduation rates. Next, I collaborated with school leaders and staff to align the TDS program to achieve each school, district and state performance measures. I also professionally trained more than 300 school-based staff in the areas of engaging instruction, teacher teaming, data collection, analysis, developing and sustaining a positive culture and climate. Finally, I recruited, established and maintained student ambassador programs.
