Managed a team of Accounts Payable and Business Expense with over $100M in AP liability monthly with travel and expenses of $35M. Led LEAN activities within department and across teams, including Global Procurement, and implemented and oversaw forensic accounting with IDEA software. Partnered with Global Procurement and Treasury to ensure best terms were rolled out and communicated, process improvements in all facets of AP and BE, and ensured Internal Controls were in place and followed, identifying any potential risks. Oversaw multiple projects within AP and BE, ensuring policies were followed and any issues were mediated. ✔ Successfully outsourced AP team to third party reducing FTE’s by two, standardizing process, invoice visibility, and process improvements, including RFP process, transition, and implementation.✔ Increased One Card Program by 50%, with $4.8M in spend in 2012 to $8.2M spend in 2017, changing policy and enforcing compliance while increasing back office audits to identify violations.✔ Completed Payment Outsourcing of domestic wires, virtual payment, and checks with a campaign to reduce checks from 50% to 41% and move payments of $657M opportunity to ACH/VPayment. With 40% campaign complete, moved over $70M to Vpayment/ACH.✔ Saved $13M in cashflow annually for Hallmark with the development and roll out of changing terms for all subsidiaries and moving 30% of NET vendors to NET 45, 42% of NET 30 vendors to NET 45. ✔ Implemented a new cashflow process to ensure forecasting AP liability (average $100M monthly) is accurate. Prior to new process, forecasting was $20M off annually. New process forecast within $2M of actuals at year end. -
