While working on the SER Customer Experience team, I handled all of the region’s BBB Lemon Law cases, which involved approving vehicle buybacks and issuing Goodwill, as well as all of the region’s CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) survey exception requests, which led to me quickly becoming the region’s CSI expert. In addition to these daily responsibilities, I managed a number of region-wide projects, such as updated part delay procedures, improved RO documentation for legal inspections, a dealer recognition award, and an enhanced customer experience process that was launched nationally to the field, earning me the region’s “Game Changer” award. The rental counter is a fast-paced customer-facing environment that involves answering calls, creating and editing rental reservations, managing a large fleet of vehicles, and communicating with other Penske locations, among other tasks. Shadowing the sales representatives provided an opportunity to learn the day-to-day responsibilities of a sales rep and engage in sales functions such as cold calls.
