- Assisted the Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) team in Kamwenge, Uganda.- Designed water distribution system extensions including boosters, piping, and storage tanks. - Wrote the Rushango Catchment Management Plan for the Ugandan Ministry of Water and Environment.- Drafted sustainability targets to preserve current and future water resources along the Mpanga River.

- Worked alongside rural communities in the Brazilian Amazonia Region to develop an essential oil distillation process and device prototype. Authored the SOP for extraction and distillation. - Held workshops on device construction/assembly. - The project was funded by the International Development Innovation Network (IDIN), the UC Davis Blum Center, and the Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering.

- Conducted independent experiments analyzing the inactivation of Fusarium oxysporum f. sp lactucae, a soil-borne fungus, under solarized conditions. - Pathogen inactivation was analyzed between various soil depths and four different soil amendments. Amendments included compost, liquid digestate, solid digestate, and chitin. - Measured inactivation using sterile plating techniques.

- Assisted with various aspects of soil solarization research. - Analyzed the degree of soil disinfestation achieved by passive solar heating, metabolic heat generation, and organic acid accumulation. - Metabolic heat generation and organic acid accumulation were enhanced through the addition of soil amendments including compost, liquid digestate, and solid digestate. - Processed samples using DNA extraction, PCR, HPLC, and gas chromatography techniques.

- Assisted in the technical analyses, data collection, and development of engineering reports related to compliance with greenhouse gas emission within the Department of Water Resources. - Collected and maintained data utilized for greenhouse gas emission/energy use reports. Provided assistance in research and economic analysis to optimize greenhouse gas compliance cost. - Maintained a database for tracking and inputting new rules and regulations related to greenhouse gas emission. -Assisted in developing greenhouse gas procedures and documents required for compliance with applicable rules and regulations.
