My yoga journey began at the age of 13 when I took my very first class, at The Yoga Place. I later went on to complete my 200 RYT certification at Yoga Strong Studios, in 2016. Inspired by my own practice, I founded a yoga program at the Jackson School of Arts, located within Jackson High School, where I impart the benefits of yoga & breath work to teenage artists. Known for my focus on unique transitions in my classes, I enjoy challenging my students to help them discover their physical and mental strength.In 2023, I further expanded my holistic practices by completing my Usui Reiki Certification under Kara Pellegrene. Embracing the power of community, I value the sense of unity that comes with practicing & teaching yoga. Through the establishment of Haven Shala, I aspire to cultivate an inclusive & supportive community, where individuals can feel accepted and encouraged.Since opening Haven Shala in August of 2023, I have been deeply involved in the Bolivar community. I am proud to be a member of the Bolivar Main Street Association and a co-founder of the Bolivar Runners Club, both of which are non-profit organizations dedicated to enhancing the well-being of our town.
