Hello, nice to meet you! My name is Tara Sanders and I am currently the Youth Services Coordinator at Kutztown Community Library in Kutztown, Pennsylvania.In my position, I coordinate and facilitate programming for ages 0-18 years of age. I routinely promote programming at outreach events, run storytimes, school-age STEM programming and love creating connections with the kiddos as they turn into the people of the future. I plan each year's Summer Quest, book and coordinate performers, and offer readers advisory. Social-emotional learning and communication are very important to me when it comes to interacting with children. I take great purpose in learning their names and helping to create a warm, inviting and safe culture at our library. I hope that through teaching them basic literacy, skills and about the world around them that I am helping to make the world a better place, one kiddo at a time.When I am not at the library, I am a part-time writer working on her first New Adult novel. My passions are reading, writing, and exploring my imagination whenever offered the chance. I love to be inspired and believe that many things are possible, as long as you put your mind to it. I also thoroughly enjoy other types of writing such as magazine profiles, opinion pieces, and more.
