About Tara Shuffitt
I have 8 years of experience as a paralegal, with experience in both plaintiff and defense firms. I also served as an executive assistant and transcriptionist for forensic psychologists for 13 years, where I routinely worked with the court system, District Attorneys' Offices, and defense attorneys to coordinate psychological evaluations and prepare reports to the Court and various state agencies. I am a Notary for the State of Alabama, a Certified Medical Transcriptionist, and I have a B.S. in Legal Studies. I am currently pursuing a Master's of Justice Administration. I serve on the Legal Studies Advisory Board at Faulkner University, and I'm a member of the Alabama Association of Paralegals (AAPi). My experience as a paralegal includes medical malpractice and personal injury/wrongful death cases, mass torts, family law cases, as well as administrative law cases. I have also assisted with complaints and disciplinary procedures against attorneys in my former role at the Alabama State Bar.
