I am driven by a desire to make innovative therapies for diseases with high unmet need, especially those that are considered rare and do not get the attention they deserve. My focus has been on finding creative ways to address the underlying metabolic deficiencies that appear to drive disease manifestations and progression. Currently I act as the Executive Vice President, Innovative Therapies at Med-Life Discoveries and CSO at GraySpace Therapeutics. Through these roles I oversee the therapeutic development of novel treatment strategies for neurodegenerative diseases including Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and Multiple Sclerosis as well as an orphan disease called Rhizomelic Chondrodysplasia Punctata (RCDP). This includes planning and managing the proof-of-concept research, safety pharmacology, clinical trial design, patient advocacy, trial logistics, auditing, regulatory strategy.
