2005Maintain and modify existing purchase orders to ensure for correct price and shipping date information.Communicate directly with the suppliers to expedite orders as needed.Direct the suppliers to ship quantities in the most cost effective manner to ensure sufficient supply to our customers, manageable monthly turns of inventory, minimal surplus charges and consistent production schedule for the factories.Support the buyers with other procurement related functions.Process inbound receipts, pick and stage materials, prepare inventory for shipments, and perform cycle counts ensuring perpetual records are updated and backup documentation is available for audit purposes.
