I am a dedicated and passionate senior at Lamar University, pursuing a psychology major with a biology minor. Throughout my academic journey, I have been fascinated by the intricacies of the human mind and the wonders of biology. I am driven to make a significant contribution to research fields in the future. My research interest was sparked during my involvement in gull and tern surveys on campus, where I developed strong observational and data analysis skills. This experience further solidified my commitment to pursuing a research career.Prior to my psychology major, I immersed myself in biology and chemistry courses, equipping me with solid laboratory skills that will serve me well in future research endeavors.Leadership and community engagement are central to my university life. As the current Vice President and former Secretary of the Alpha Omega Epsilon sorority, Phi Chapter, I have honed my leadership, organizational, and communication skills. I oversee various committees, including Philanthropy, Sisterhood, Recruitment, Social Media, Scholastic, Personal Growth, and Risk Management. These experiences have deepened my commitment to community service and personal development.Looking ahead, I am excited to leverage my academic background, research experience, and leadership skills in a role that fosters continued growth and learning in the field of research. I am particularly interested in opportunities that allow me to apply my knowledge of psychology and biology to real-world challenges.
