I have always had a passion for helping others and encouraging them in any way I can to achieve their goals. I have over 14 years of experience in customer service and since 2019, I've had the pleasure to work closely with older adults at Mercy Ridge Retirement Community as a Fitness Manager among roles as well. Joining residents on their journey to getting active and helping them stay motivated is what I truly love doing. I started my journey at Mercy Ridge as a Fitness and Aquatics Coordinator where I was able to grow and work my up into my current role as Fitness Manager.Being a Fitness Manager, I am head of the Fitness Department that consists of leading a Fitness Team and making our residents our highest priority in assisting them fulfill their fitness and lifestyle goals. As a Fitness Manager my role includes supervising the fitness team including hiring, training and evaluating, lead group exercise classes, personal training, finding new and creative way to keep residents motivated to participate in all programs and want to continue a healthy and active lifestyle. -ACSM Exercise Physiologist Certified-ACE Senior Fitness Specialist-Strong relationship and communication skills-Multitasking -Work in a fast-pace environment while staying positive and keeping everything running smooth.-Work independently and in a team setting-Promoting a positive environment by building rapport with community residents
