About Tara A. Hamlin
As a Project Manager and environmental scientist, I am deeply committed to devoting my career to public health and the protection of our environment for future generations. In short, the widespread environmental impact of commerce and the energy industry—including climate change, endangered species, deforestation, mining, nuclear accidents, pesticides, pollution, waste and over-population—have all captured my attention. More recently, I've expanded by scientific knowledge and passion to incorporate the the unique challenges of clinical trials and help clients with proactive problem solving and project management expertise. My affinity for these issues and appreciation for science led me to pursue a bachelor's degree in environmental science. From a young age, I developed a propensity for science and technology as well as hiking, fishing, nature walks and simply playing in the dirt. Through my love of nature and science, I developed a passion for environmental science along with a holistic understanding of the synergetic relationship between nature and people. But what really solidified my desire to work in the industry was my experience working as a lead environmental intern at Cornell and teaching environmental science for many years.Known as a quick study when it comes to science and qualitative analysis, I have a talent for analyzing and solving problems. This is where I truly excel. Fueled by my inquisitive personality, I continue the learning process beyond informal/formal instruction, so I can be counted on to be extremely conscientious when working independently or with a team. This has further advanced my knowledge and dedication to supporting clinical trial operations.I am committed to supporting activities that will drive organizational goals. Whether working within sales and operations, consulting with clients, conducting research, sampling soil in the field or completing necessary certifications, I am focused on adding value.
