Postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Public Health at Aarhus University, Denmark, and serve as the scientific coordinator for the Big Data Center for Environment and Health at Aarhus University. With over a decade of experience in public health and social development, I am dedicated to evidence-based public health practices and policymaking. My research primarily focuses on non-communicable diseases (NCDs) such as chronic respiratory diseases, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, mental health, and the application of new media and technology in public health. Additionally, I actively advocate for health for all and promote global health governance on various national and international platforms.I earned my PhD in Public Health from Aarhus University in 2022, my Master of Science in Public Health from the University of Southern Denmark in 2017, and my Bachelor's degree in Public Health from the Institute of Medicine, Maharajgunj Medical Campus, Kathmandu, Nepal in 2013.Since 2018, I have led NCD Watch Nepal, an initiative aimed at promoting evidence-informed policymaking and public awareness of NCDs in Nepal. In 2017, I launched the Healthy Lungs Nepal campaign to raise awareness about lung health. I am also the founding chairman of Nepal Health Frontiers, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to health research and programs in Nepal.Contact Information
