This high-profile project proposed the siting of a 150-mile high-voltage transmission line through more than 75 municipalities across the state experiencing intense public scrutiny. As leader for this project, I employed tactics that established credibility and fostered relationships with stakeholders in more than 75 communities including: community leaders; federal, state and local officials; environmental regulators and advocates; economic development organizations; landowners, community groups and non-governmental organizations; and the news media.
