Dr. Tara Braun has vast experience in international higher education ranging from study abroad, international partnerships, enrollment strategy, EDUSA networking, international student services, recruiting, immigration, has served in the roles of PDSO and RO, and has worked with international student programming. As an active member of NAFSA, she serves in leadership and training roles at the NAFSA state and regional level, advocacy groups, and presents at numerous conferences. She is also a co-founder and Chair of Study Michigan. Tara has presented at many state, regional, and national conferences on international education topics and serves on the IC3 Content and Research committee.Dr. Braun holds a Bachelor's in Business, a Master’s in Career and Technical Education from Ferris State University, a doctorate of Higher Educational Leadership at Central Michigan University, and serves as the Executive Director of International Education at Ferris State University. Her dissertation work focuses on the re-acculturation experiences of Ghanaian students who studied in the United States.
