Often referred to as the "in-house Team Raiser/Luminate Online expert" I support the organizations digital fundraising efforts by working to consistently improve UX for our participants and donors. I collaborate with national and regional staff to leverage P2P fundraising initiatives to reach revenue goals.Set up and management of all P2P fundraising websites across the country and training field staff on P2P fundraising strategies, techniques and stewardship practices. I have also worked with teams to create and implement business rules and best practices for P2P and digital fundraising events.Project planning and management for fundraising events, including: creating and presenting a business case, budget management, venue selection, contract negotiation, sponsorship sales, recruiting volunteers and participants. Point of contact for partners, vendors, venues, guests/participants and onsite event support. Logistics support and onsite event management for both local and international events.

Event planning and execution for annual fundraising events including; Golf Tournament, Ski Day, Curling Bonspiel and our annual signature fundraiser the Wheelchair Relay Challenge & Walk. Solicit team participation and facilitate volunteers raising funds. Prospect research to support the attainment of targets including: sponsors, participants, teams, prizes and volunteers. Recruit & coordinate volunteers for events. Solicit sponsorship & prize donations. Ensure effective stewardship and recognition of donors, sponsors and event participants. Use of social media to promote events, recognize sponsors and connect with participants. Planning and deploying event related email campaigns. Coordinate and support event committees and committee meetings inclusive of collateral materials, reports and minutes. Provide support to organizational events such as AGM & Trade Shows. Develop event websites and provide technical support for registration & participant based personal fundraising.

I worked with the Director of the Ontario Respiratory Care Society to coordinate continuing education seminars for health care professionals. From program development to advertising/marketing the event to ensuring that we have the right volunteers in place to get the job done, we produce approximately 10 of these events all over the province of Ontario annually. I also help coordinate the ORCS component of the annual Better Breathing Conference hosted by the OLA which is one of the largest respiratory education programs in Canada.

In my role at TCC, I worked with the team to design and oversee the execution of many events. From banquets to anniversaries, ground breaking ceremonies and conferences with 2000 delegates, just to name a few! I have extensive experience in working with volunteers in all stages, from recruitment all the way to scheduling and coordinating our annual volunteer appreciation day. I assisted the Media Director to work on presentations for events & advertising strategies. I also assisted the Kids Church Director to put on a one week camp for the kids in the congregation. In my role at TCC I implemented the use of Social Media as a means of communicating with the congregation and advertising upcoming events. There was also the Administration side of my role there where I created staff meeting agenda's, took minutes, prepared the weekly church bulletin, database management, mass correspondence via email and regular post, assisted the pastors with note preparation and power point presentations, writing and proof reading promotional materials and correspondence.
