Coordination of transfer programming for the LMC campus. Coordinate campus tours, transfer fairs, college nights, transfer workshops and presentations. Co-coordinate Transfer Academy learning community. Manage day to day logistics of the Transfer Center. Supervise student employees as well as assist with intern responsibility delegation.

Advise first-generation, low-income students in academic, financial and transitional needs. Assist with the EOP First Year Experience component, Summer Bridge, transfer orientations, career exploration and major selection. Supervise three upperclassman/graduate level interns. Specialize in advising for undeclared and College of Natural Science students. Establish and maintain relationships with national and local businesses to assists with Summer Bridge, coordinate meals for 200+ people with 12+ vendors. Coordinate graduate school informational workshops and trips, as well as semester cultural events for EOP students.

Co-Supervise 10 resident advisors, advise 25 student leaders in hall council and manage $5,000 budget, coordinate large scale programming for 400 plus students on academic, social, safety and global issues. Develop and assist in RA programming and compile monthly reports. Supervise two front desks and 20 plus employees. Maintain occupancy transfers and reports for two residence halls, and track all maintenance and keys.

As Miss Black California, I spent my year focusing on advocating for higher education, the support of California's foster youth, as well as representing "The Heart Truth Campaign" and Dr. Ian Heart's "50 Million Pound Challenge."Any woman can spend their reign posing for pictures and making appearances; I spent mine working closely with foster youth and fighting for the restoration of funding to the CSU...and posing for pictures.
