Fir NW is an advertising and brand agency run by Portland State students. Using both strategic and creative planning, we cultivate concepts into living campaigns. Our purpose is to take our skills and clients to new heights. Come take a walk in our neck of the woods. As a media planner, I will be aware of current media trends/media channels. I’ll collaborate with strategists and develop optimal media plans to pitch to the client. Then assist and execute those plans during the campaign while tracking analytics to make adjustments accordingly while the campaign is live.

Addressing college hunger and food insecurity on campus through SNAP awareness & outreach utilizing digital strategies on FB & IG, newsletter, and email marketing. Working alongside nonprofits like the PSU Food Pantry and Partners for a Hunger Free Oregon.

Nombolo is a Black owned Portland based tech start up that has developed a technology app which allows users to post, request, and discover the world around them. First, Black Lives Matter. And we want to help our users stay safe in the time of COVID-19 #socialdistancing. Second, we want to ensure that our consumers' data is SAFE. As the Director of Marketing And Business Development, I and my marketing team have brainstormed creative strategies to engage our consumers from all walks of life. Emphasizing consumer needs, we have curated social media content to push Nombolo's growth. We utilize analytics to inform our decisions regarding Nombolo. As for the Business Development aspect, there are major plans underway to dive into the Portland, OR business scene to collaborate with and develop connections which will allow our community to stay safe. We are currently trying to develop connections with credible investors so we can think and talk about the future. Let's connect!

Leseli Studios is a work in progress that was an idea developed into a website in 2019 with a fellow founder. The intention of this business is to develop a network of talented website developers, graphic designers, photographers, social media strategists, and music producers to create original & quality content for online businesses' to upgrade their current professional online presence. My position would be ensuring day to day operations and communications between professionals and clients.

The co-founder of Hovrtek reached out to me after I had assisted them with social media management and digital campaigns to raise local awareness and develop a presence on social media. Hovrtek had just recruited 4 new interns from a coding bootcamp at Epicodus and wanted project management assistance to lead the interns with daily stand ups and task management. It was challenging adjusting to a remote only management position and has presented its own challenges. My greatest takeaway from this experience, is diving head first into a project within a relatively new field (UI/UX) and being able to apply general management practices to create a productive and efficient work environment virtually.
