Tara Embrey, Msc.(OT), OT Reg.(Ont.) is a dedicated neurodivergent occupational therapist and psychotherapist with a wealth of experience in mental health. Her career has been driven by a passion for helping individuals thrive, both personally and professionally. As an accessibility advisor at the University of Guelph, she saw students struggling with perfectionism, procrastination and shame. In response, she co-created Learning to Bounce, a transformative group therapy program based on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. This initiative empowered students to recognize their self-worth and develop resilience in the face of academic challenges.Now working in the community, Tara supports youth and adults in their academic, professional and parenting journeys. Her practice is characterized by compassion, enthusiasm, and a deep belief in the inherent worth of every person.
