I managed the coordination of projects focused on the hot gas path tradeoffs with performance versus life, cost reduction efforts, and advanced gas path technology introduction. They included:• Mangaged the repairing film cooled F-Class thermal barrier cooling holes project which allowed for multi-tour hardware with significant savings on contractural service agreements, • Coordinated the redesign of all three 9FB shroud stages with additional performance gains and approiximately 10% cost reduction per set, and• Implemented the patented gel aluminized honeycomb technology on 9E and 9FB advanced gas paths.

I managed the introduction and validation of several key technologies as part of the 7FA.03 & 9FA.03 Heat Rate Phase 1 and Phase 2 products which were critical to meeting the gas turbine performance program objectives. This involved coordinating with multiple design, materials, Global Research Center, and manufacturing. This included:• Patented Gen 3+ abradable coating for stage 1 shrouds,• Patented dovetail sealing on turbine blades and advanced cloth seals, and• Coating development for ceramic matrix composite stage 1 shrouds.
