I have recently completed a medical billing and coding program, through Penn Foster, which has equipped me with the skills and knowledge needed to embark on my journey into the medical industry. I am a certified billing and coding specialist, certified through the National Healthcareer Association. While my career experience has all been in the childcare industry thus far, that experience has equipped me with a myriad of skills that would be beneficial in any career. Skills, including, but not limited to, multi-tasking, keeping calm under pressure and in a chaotic environment, and excellent communication, organizational and time management skills. I am proficient in all Microsoft Office applications and have superior customer service skills. I feel confident that given the chance I would prove to be a fast learner, a hard worker, and a dedicated and valuable member of any medical office team.
